Pickin' a President

Somebody said; "Democracy is the worst form of government, but better than all other forms", or something like that.

A presidential election has turned into an object lesson on what is one of the bad parts of a democracy.

We do not have any front runners right now and indeed, the voters might get it right, but our form of govenment does stack the deck.

Look what we have....

Leading the democrats are a young black man with no experience in running anything, little worldy exposure with a message of "Change"
The second leading democrat is again someone with no experience in running anything other that an operation of containing "Bimbo Eruptions". She too exposes "Change". She said she has spent 35 years on "Change". I have yet to hear what she has changed in those 35 years.

On the republican side we have a lifelong senator who has not distinguished himself with any noble cause. He was on the wrong side of free speech with the McCain-Fiengold bill. He was on the wrong side of immigration reform. He too has not run anything other than a senate office.

Another leading republican has just swept Iowa based on his religion, glibness and "we just like him". At least he has run a government, albeit half the size of New York city.

Another has run something, New York City. His main appeal has been to defend us against terrorism, but in his tenure the largest terrorist attack in history was done to his city.

If we do have a legitimate leader of the country it is Romney. Supper successful in private business, taken a disaster in the making Olympics and turned it around to a resounding success. And he has been a successful governor. But, he is a MORMON! Can't have that! And he has run "negative" ads!

Get real folks. Think! The most demanding job in the world, the one with the most responsibility, one that can effect lives around the world... and we get Hillary, Oboma and Huckabee.

Get real, this is important. In a democracy YOU have responsibilty! You will be held accountable for your decision.
