A Whole New Ball Game

With the Pennsylvania win, Hillary goes on... the battle continues.

The problem is the process. Both Democrat and Republican processes of selecting candidates have been flawed.

The Republicans choose a quick process, the Democrats a long drawn out process. Both will in the end produce flawed candidates.

The long drawn out process of the Democrats are producing flaws daily in the candidates. The media in the tank for Obama and the Democrats in general are wringing their hands over the knife fight that displays the flaws. So whoever wins, a lightweight with no experience (and, we thought, no baggage!) or a warmed over Clinton who the electorate is really deciding they don't like very much after all.

An McCain goes merrily on.... talking, but hardly anyone is listening, but he is not getting hammered daily. The hammering will come later and all the flaws that never showed up in the quick winner the Republicans ran will become apparent in the general election.

I am sure both parties will seek to change their process in the future. Will it matter, probably no, democracy is messy.

So here we are on the cusp of electing the worst of both possible outcomes. I think we can do matter and here is how: Next Blog Post

BITTERgate

Obama walked into a door a few days ago... it was the word BITTER. Voters in Pennsylvania and the Midwest are BITTER about being "left behind" and all they head for is church and a gun.

Obama, you get what you sow. You and your fellow politicians have sown the seeds of bitterness. Why shouldn't they feel bitter. You have told them that the gas prices are too high because of the mean evil oil companies or Bush and Chaney. You have told them they deserve a high paying job with benefits. You have told them that it is their right to have health care. AND I will give it to you!

All these things you know are not achievable by you! They are achievable by the people and they do not need you. You sow discontent, you so divisiveness, you sow lies.

And you want to be President. How could you?

Our Choices

After what seems like years we are down to three.... John, Barack and Hillary.

That's democracy for you! Not perfect, but it is what it is. Time to make lemonade out of lemons.

How will it work out? It is doing so right now. The Dems have been beating up each other and McCain is given a pass and doing what comes naturally.

First of all the Dems. This train wreck will continue. Why is this a train wreck? Simple... We have two front runners for the nomination that have no difference in policy and both have a very slim resume that would normally get no one elected president. They will continue to try to enhance their slim record and in doing so will continue to embellish, preen and outright lie. It took a comedy show (Saturday Night Live) to goad the media into some responsibility. At least they will make a stab at doing some research... maybe at least "Goggle" a little bit to expose at least an outfight lie.

On the other side, experience will come out, but this "free pass" time will allow us to really view McCain as he is. His problem is the conservatives. This is what is needed. Will the real John McCain stand up. He says "conservative" his actions say "liberal". This time between storms for McCain will reveal the real John.
