A conundrum... Universal Health Care has never worked successfully anywhere, why do e edge ever closer to a failed system, or a system that has never proven to be successful AND better than the current system?
The words FREE and SIMPLE work every time. Every thing we know about human behavior is if we reduce the cost we get more of it. Now, we do not really reduce the cost, universal health care will actually increase the total cost.... but we kid ourselves into believing that someone else will pay.
It sound good, and takes care of the hassles. Got a problem, go to the doctor whether a hangnail or a heart attack. "After all it's FREE".
The other way, private initiative, private insurance is messy. You have to think, you have to decide if it is really bad enough to go to the doctor... and you will have to pay a little.
FREE and SIMPLE always beat the messy, worry about cost, decide! Yikess... give me free and simple.... don't bother about the fact that they may schedule my bypass after I die!
